How to travel in style – Our quick guide for what to pack

It’s that time of year when we all start thinking about our holidays, so we’ve put together a guide on what to pack, on how to look good while away and while you’re travelling that should stand you in good stead now and in the future. Our packing guides do not include underwear, toiletries, and other essentials and are based on two nights and three days, so adjust accordingly.
Travelling:
- Dress comfortably for air travel, but dress up! You may be flying economy, there is no need to look like it, dress for first class.
- Hand baggage should be of sufficient quality and look well cared for.
- Wear dark glasses, even on night flights.
- Carry yours and hers, reall men don’t roll.
- ..And always smile, jet lag is for wimps!
What to pack for beach holidays:
- For the day: Two t-shirts, Two polo shirts, one pair of combat shorts, one pair of swimming shorts, one pair of flip flops.
- For the night: One pair of smart jeans, a casual blazer, two shirts that can be worn with or without the blazer, one pair of loafers.
- Do not take anything with a Hawaiian print.
What to pack for a city break:
- For the day: One pair of casual jeans, one jumper, two t-shirts, a pair of comfortable shoes.
- For the night: A pair of smart jeans, two smart shirts, a pair of smart shoes and a smart blazer.
- Do not take any t-shirts with printed slogans. Some things just don’t translate.
What to pack for Mars:
- For the day: One space suit, a pair of space boots and a space helmet is a must.
- For the night: Same as day, plus warm underwear and a cyanide pill.
- Do not take anything less than factor 2000 sun block.
