So you've bought your Paul Smith Shirt or your G-Star Jeans from Banana Connection and been out on the town looking great. However, accidents do happen and there is nothing worse than getting home to find that that spilt drink or encounter has left you with a stain on your new garment, it's happened to us all of course. So to help you restore your shirt, jeans, etc to their former glory we've provided below our top tips for removing stains. Please remember this is advice only and all treatments are at the owners risk.
Beer
Try sponging the stain with vinegar and warm water(1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) rinse and then wash in a detergent containing bleach.
Blood
Try soaking your garment in cold salty water, followed by a wash in biological detergent.
Lipstick
Most lipsticks just wash out during a normal wash.
White Wine
Wipe away any excess spillage, and then cover the stain with salt to draw the moisture from the surface. Then sponge the stain with a warm solution of biological detergent containing bleach, before rinsing and washing.
Red Wine
Pour white wine over any red wine spillage, before performing the steps above for a white wine stain.
