The Dr Denim story begins when Johannes and Alexander first visited a denim factory in 1986. It was the large amounts of garments. the smells and pace that sporned the idea for a new denim brand. The brand really started to become a reality around 1994 and during the hot summer of 2003 it really started to get serious.
Dr Denim Jeansmakers rests on a combination of extensive denim industry experience and an academic approach to jeansmaking. And so Dr Denim was formed by Morten, Johannes and Alexander in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The philosophy is 'A matter of life and denim'. As fas as Dr Denim is concerned jeans are not just an incurable passion, but also a science. Based upon the deep knwoledge and the science of denim, washes and patterns has charaterised Dr Denim jeans producing fantastic results around the world.
